Can you tell me if this players are good defensive players?

nawww. all of them are average defenders, carmelos defence is under rated cuz he doesnt try, but he can be a good one if he trys, I think they are both equal, pippen just defended the best player, to reserve MJs energy for offence . but SP does have 2 inches over MJ, but MJ has greater speed. Maybe SP, because he was defending all these great players for life, so his D must be pretty good
