I want to be a Beta tester. what path should i take to get there?

so yes i want to be a Beta tester. i always had a pion for video games, and i am fasinated by the possibilities and things i could create (virtually of corse) well. im going into college soom. i am a high school senior and i want to become a beta tester. At first i want to start off doing work under a computer game designer (which requires 3 yrs of visual communications.) until i get my Bachelors under game designer, or until i get a degree, that should get me into a game company. but still remains the question. how do i get there? what should i do to enhance my career option?
