Do girls find attractive guys intimidateing?

ok, i have been told by many people that i am an attractive young man, and i have even been pulled aside when i was in Florida to see about doing some modeling (which i never did lol) but i never ever let this stuff get to my head like some of those jerky high school guys did. anyway, i am out of school, 20, and its hard finding a girl around here! i walk around the mall or wherever, and i see these pretty darn attractive girls presumably going out with these total jock lookin meatheads or these wankster guys who are tryin to look like eminem, and they look more like bozo the clown with those giant pants, lol. but anyway, i dress pretty normal, and i think im different from alot of guys though, like i have longer hair and i, well, dont act like a stuck up snob lol. but i still cant really seem to meet anyone. i really got no life, lol. but still, i get the impression alot that maybe girls are intimidated by me, and im not really great socially. its this whole idea of misperception.
