Eruption Frequency of Composite and Andestie Volcanoes?

It depends on the volcano. Arenal is one of the most active composite volcanoes and just recently erupted and can still erupt at any time. Mt Adams is also a composite volcano but is still dormant. It all depends on the location and the rate and angle of subduction.
