What should I do about this poor cat?

considering the fact that a lot of humane societies/ animal shelters are non-profit, im sure they would be hesitant to take in a cat that could potentially cost them a lot of money and/ or be hard to adopt out. i would try the aspca or as someone else suggested, put up a petfinder listing.
