Why do people want someone they don't deserve(REPHRASED)?

My same answer applies, I don't know why some people think that someone completely different than them with completely different beliefs, values, education,morals belongs with them. I look for someone on my same plane pretty much in all areas. (meaning I'm not expecting a rocket scientist to want to date me)
